The Wing Back has revealed his stance on the links connecting him to a possible Chelsea move
The 25-year-old is reportedly viewed as a better addition by Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel ahead of the summer transfer window.
Tuchel is keen to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season with aims of becoming a major contender in the Premier League.
Having completed a major task and landing the West Londoners their second UCL trophy in just few months of his arrival, Tuchel has the full support from the club owner, Roman Abramovic to go for players who will suit his play pattern.
With Traore linked as one of Tuchel’s wanted men, the Spaniard was quizzed ahead of the Euros competition on the links connecting him to the best club in Europe.
“That they link your name with the great teams like Chelsea is a joy,” the former Barcelona man said, “but I have not spoken with my agent.
“After Euros we’ll know what is true or not.”
Since joining Wolverhampton in 2018, Traore has already recorded 103 league appearances while managing 7 goals for the side.
With the Euros at hand, should he get an opportunity in the National team, Traore would be hoping to impress Tuchel further more so as to fire up the urge to bring him to West London.
