Juventus has asked one of their sponsors; adidas for more funds to ensure they bring back Pogba.
The Old Lady does not want to lose Paul Pogba for the second time as they have taken extra measures to ensure the Frenchman returns to Allianz Arena.
Inquiries made earlier by Juve for Pogba had them slapped with a heavy bill around €150m to scare them away.
Man. United’s measure to protect their property has now stirred up a different tone of music as Juve has demanded that their German sponsors should fund this deal according to Corriere dello sport.
Adidas’ deal with Juventus has been reported to worth a total of €403m and would last till 2027 but at the same time still holds a sponsorship deal with Juve’s ‘arch rival on the Pogba’s deal’.
Pogba at the other end, is desperately seeking for an exit as Man. United have failed to secure a place in the Champions League tournament.
With Real Madrid initially on the top of the negotiation leaderboard Pogba is willing to head to Santiago Bernabeu but the strange and persistent push by Juve has placed them on top of the deal.
Pogba might end up returning to where he came from, cause Real Madrid probably might not have enough fund to initiate the transfer after spending almost €500m on signings.
Maybe the same reason they paused Mbappe transfer deal till 2020 cause they had tried to bid on Pogba for €110m to €115m but Man. United stood firm.
Juventus are determined to get the Frenchman back and would do so as soon as Adidas accepts their plea.
