Arsenal have stepped up their pursuit of top players before the summer transfer Window opens.
According to reports, the Gunners have increased their efforts to sign Ryan Bertrand, a Southampton left back on a free transfer.
Edu and Arteta’s mistake in the last transfer Window was not signing a back up for Kieran Tierney who was injured for a significant period of time.
Mikel Arteta have had problems at the left back position this season. Sead Kolasinac left on loan in January window and was left with no options at LB due to an injury on Tierney.
Arteta was forced to play Granit Xhaka in that role throughout their Europa League Campaign.
Arsenal are now looking to sign a replacement left-back for Tierney and according to reports, 31-year-old Ryan Bertrand have been eyed as a replacement.

Fortunately for Arsenal, Ryan contract with Southampton expires at the end of the season which means he will be available for the Gunners on a free transfer.
