William Saliba loan move to Stade Rennes.
Following his return from a loan move, Mikel Arteta believes leaving the Saliba to go on loan is the best thing to do.
With the presence of many defenders in the Gunners squad already, Saliba is yet to make his debut for the North London side since his return from Saint Etienne.
The 19-year-old is wanted by French side, Stade Rennes which would have him leave Emirates for another loan spell.
Gunners are likely going to let him leave considering his age and desires to keep him at the club for a longer time.
Staying back will only have him spend more time on the bench than fielding in games.
Lucas Torreira loan move to Atletico Madrid agreed.
According to Standard, Arsenal have finally agreed to let Lucas Torreira join Atletico Madrid on a loan deal.
Having splashed a £22m price tag on the Uruguayan, Arsenal failed to finalized a deal to have him join either AS Roma or Torino as both teams couldn’t match the price.
Arsenal now decided to accept Atletico Madrid’s offer to own the player on loan as it is the only option to take Torreira off Gunners wage bill.
Atletico Madrid have an option to permanently sign Torreira for £22m but not obliged to.
Houssem Aouar move to Arsenal looks Greener.
Lyon’s star man, Houssem Aouar could finally be completing his much talked about move to England following Torreira away move.
With a deadline already handed to Arsenal, the North London side look to finalize the Frenchman deal before the said date as Lyon’s president hinted to the player’s exit.
“From Friday evening, when Rudi [Garcia] will choose his squad vs Marseille, there will be no departures,” said Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas.
“We could see ourselves lose two players.”Arsenal is expected to present a more improved amount bid for Aouar after having their €36m bid tagged ‘timid’ by Lyon’s President.
