Ozil refused to take a pay cut during the COVID19 Pandemic period and now Arsenal are hoping to offload him.

Having been left out of the squad registered for the Europa League games, Mesut Ozil might likely be drawing nearer to the exit door as sources report Arsenal are reopening a pay off talk with the the Turkish.

Mesut Ozil although steadily bagging in large amounts on weekly wages, he has been left out on most of the games this season.

It’s a surprise that what was thought to be a brilliant deal when he renewed his contract back in January has now turned sour.

Arsenal are now looking to quickly pay off the midfielder and if talks go on well, he would likely be heading to the MLS league.

But it’s unlikely teams will come for the World cup winner when he is ready to leave due to his large wage bills and also training with squads aside Arsenal will be sort of difficult due to the Pandemic rules.

Ozil’s career is at risk as he might likely be dropped during the rest of the EPL fixtures following the arrival of Thomas Partey.

Unless Mikel Arteta chooses to use only the defensive part of Partey, then could he introduce Mesut Ozil who is good in pushing attacks and not so in recovering lost balls.
