Arsenal could be losing out on another transfer battle as Real Madrid turn attention to Houssem Aouar
Arsenal have trailed the Frenchman for a long time before even bringing in Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard.
But Odegaard is on a loan deal and could possibly not remain with the Gunners after this summer after links of a possible return to Santiago Bernabeu.
Arsenal moved for Odegaard after failing to bring in Aouar as Mesut Ozil’s replacement.
Mikel Arteta urgently needs to fill this space by providing back up to Emile Smith Rowe who is even also linked to a possible exit.
The closest option to Arsenal is reopening talks for Houssem Aouar but it won’t be an easy one for them now as Real Madrid are reportedly planning a transfer swoop.

Lately, Carlos Ancelotti submitted a three man shortlist that includes the 22-year-old and Real Madrid are expected to go all hard on him.
This comes after Gunners lost out Emi Buendia to Aston Villa after also trailing the former Norwich talisman for long.
With the huge financial blow on many teams, Arsenal are supposedly to complete major deal that would influence their squad greatly.
