Arsenal should be willing to spend over half of their transfer budget after Celtic rejects their £15 million offer for Kieran Tierney.

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery is planning to reinforce his team for a better comeback in the coming season and he thinks Kieran Tierney is a good option for this plan.

The 22 year old player who is really valued at his club; Celtic would really be costing Arsenal a fortune if they are determined to get him.

According to reports, Arsenal got rejected on their first bid to have the Scottish for £15 million, a price over half of what Celtic are demanding.

With little transfer budget for the Gunners this season £40 million, Unai Emery is left with literally no option on this deal but he can still make some decisions.

Whether to splash the cash and be left with just £20 million in his transfer pause or source for a cheaper player.

But sorting for a cheaper player would entail Gunners going in deeper with their search as they look to get the best replacement Nacho Monreal who is now 33.

At the other end, Celtic is not planning to lose another key player for a little amount, just like the case of van Dijk who left for Southampton for £13 million 4 years back.

Celtic looks to grab this opportunity after seeing in the past years, how good their defenders have been doing in the English league.

From van Dijk to Mousa Dembele whose £19 million Lyon move is their highest transfer deal so far.

A great obstacle Arsenal has to overcome or risk losing youngster to rivals or even him staying back at Celtic considering the fact he is really happy at Celtic Park.

Although, reports from the The Times states that Arsenal has made a second deal which is likely to be rejected as well as the offer is considered to still be lower that what is aked.

Be it as it may, Arsenal should be willing to spend good cash if they want to make it into the Champions league next season.
