Arsenal might be losing Mesut Ozil to American side, DC United as he is linked to replacing former Manchester United man, Wayne Rooney.
Ozil has been linked to DC United who appear to be looking for a possible replacement following the exit of their forward, Wayne Rooney who just joined League 1 side, Derby County as a player-coach.
Although the American side might find it difficult to refill the vacuum left by Rooney but they believe that former Germany International, Mesut Ozil would be the best replacement for the Manchester United player.
Ozil has put out really good performances during Gunners’ pre-season tour, with his last exceptional assist to Aubameyang’s goal as the side lost 2-1 to Barcelona after Miles’ own goal caused them to lose hold of their lead.
It might be the last time Arsenal would get to see the Turkish in their Jersey on the pitch, as one of his representatives is reported to be preparing to head to America next week to iron out a deal for Ozil.
The 30-year-old is believed to be making the switch by January if the deal holds as claimed by US Journalist, Steven Goff.
Arsenal at the other hand, has until tomorrow to bring in more players as they can but are no more interested in bringing in attackers, as they are only reportedly interested in getting a CB.
Mesut Ozil is yet to get much playtime for Arsenal as he’s still yet to make 40 league appearances for Gunners which this season seems to be promising him of that, following Aaron Ramsey’s departure.
