Arsenal pursuit of Brighton’s defender, Ben White have taken a new twist as newly appointed head coach, Benitez have told Brighton they’ll pay the guaranteed £50m to sign the player.
Arsenal have long been the frontrunners to sign the England International but reaching a deal with his parent club have been difficult.
Although Arsenal are not too far in reaching a total agreement with Brighton, there is still a little gap to fill between the two sides and Everton have jumped in to hijack the deal.
Ben White has already communicated his desire to play with the Gunners to his teammates should Arsenal finalize the deal but he is not ruling out a move to Everton should a good offer come in.
Everton are now working to get the deal secured and are putting together bonus packages to land the Player after telling Everton they will pay the guaranteed £50M.
Ben White remains focused on being part of the England squad throughout the Euros, though is aware of the interest being shown in him by other Premier League clubs.
Arsenal will now be hoping they can wade off Everton’s interest by submitting a more lucrative offer to get the deal done.
