Mikel Arteta has given an update on the future of the club’s right back, Hector Bellerin as well as an injury update.
Rumours have spread over the last few weeks that Arsenal‘s right back will be leaving the club at the end of the current premier league campaign.
But contrarily, head coach Mikel Arteta has insisted that the Spainiard remains at the club as the season comes to an end.
“Hector is not fit for Sunday so he will not be playing the last time. Like everybody that has a contract, he remains here.” Arteta said.
Hector Bellerin is also expected to miss the gunners last game of the season with a leg injury.
Seeing as he isn’t fit for Sunday, Bellerín may have played his final game for the club. 239 appearances over 8 years.
A key role in 3 FA Cup triumphs. A top ambassador for the club. Recently, things haven’t gone as planned, but he is still a very loyal servant.
Hector is the second longest serving player currently at the club.
