Aston Villa have been tipped to make a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Emi Martinez as Dean Smith looks for additional opposition to his keeping division.
Martinez has been the best option plug for Mikel Arteta since number Bernd Leno endured a knee injury in June after the restart of the Premier League season, and intrigued in that time.
The Argentine has been on the Gunners’ books since 2010 and has had six advance spells from the Emirates Arena in that time – incorporating with Wolves.
