Dean Smith has promised to do well in ending Chelsea’s away records under Tuchel
Chelsea prepare to take on Aston Villa on Sunday for the final fixture of their 2020/2021 season.
The Blues are in chase for a top four finish and triumphing over Villa will see them meet this target but Dean Smith has promised his side will do will in becoming a stumbling block for the West Londoners.
Although Aston Villa have lost 10 of their last 12 meetings with the Stamford Bridge side but remain keen their bag a victory after Sunday clash.
But Villa have won six more games than the 9 they did win last season and has been in a pretty form to be worthy enough to provide the threats Smith promises.
The 50-year-old is also aware of the very record of Chelsea recording their last lost for an EPL final game back in 2017-2018 when they crashed 3-0 to Newcastle United.

Speaking ahead of the game, Smith said of Tuchel; “He’s come in and done exactly what he’s been asked to do so far.
“Now it’s our job to put an end to their away record. We’ll be going hell for leather to try and do that.”
