Premier League Side, Aston Villa is set to be in a transfer battle with Arsenal to land £40M rated Norwich Star, Emiliano Buendia.
According to reports, the Midlands club are understood to be preparing an offer to land the Norwich Playmaker but will face stiff competition from the Gunners.
Buendia price tag is up to £40 million after an immpressive campaign in which he scored 15 goals and registered 16 assists.
Norwich sealed a return back to the Premier League by winning the Championship and Buendia won the championship player of the year again.
The Gunners will now be forced to action with Mikel Arteta desperately on the hunt for a creative playmaker.
However, Arsenal will only make a move if the plan to land Martin Ødegaard fails.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made his intention of his desire to keep Odegaard at the club obvious.
“We have tried to make everything that we could to get Martin performing for the team, which I think he has done.
“He has adapted really well to our way of playing and to our football club.
Hopefully we have given him the hope and the feeling that this could be a good place for him.”
Although the Gunners are are yet to make a formal bid to Norwich for Buendia, the involvement of Villa could force Arsenal into action.
