Havertz chipped straight towards the goalpost as Courtois rushed out to stop the attack.
Unfortunately for the former Leverkusen star who his ball only met the bar but thanks to Timo Werner who was present to finish off the attack
Having earlier on enjoyed a struggling start at his new club, Havertz seems to have found his talisman as he also netter a goal against Fulham in the game before tonight’s.
In response to their former member advancing into the Uefa champions league final, Bayer Leverkusen took to their Twitter page to call out the front man along side a crown emoji.
This victory tonight saw Chelsea become the first team to make it into the UCL final same season as their women’s division being in the champions league final.
