Chelsea are one of the few favorites likely to be crowned Champions on the current UCL run according to Flick
Hansi Flick led Bayern Munich to a 1-0 victory over Thomas Tuchel’s PSG after so much difficulty to break the German coach’s PSG defense.
It’s a new campaign and Tuchel is back in the chase for the European trophy despite having been sacked by his former side and now inheriting an almost crumbling Chelsea from Frank Lampard.
Since the 47-year-old’s arrival to London, Chelsea have conceded just one goal which came as an own goal from Antonio Rudiger as they have now drew just one and winning the other games under Tuchel.
Although, maybe to Chelsea it’s not that year for them to lift the trophy but Hansi Flick thinks otherwise as he tips the Fulham based side for a stunning UCL run.
Flick stated that Chelsea are one of the most dreadful now since they are now under Thomas Tuchel who he believes to have garnered so much experience in the industry.
“Chelsea have massive potential both in terms of quality & quantity,” the 55-year-old said.
“It’s a young team with a lot of talent.,” he continued. “They can go far in UCL this season. Thomas has gained experience at PSG that’ll benefit him at Chelsea. He’s ready for this challenge.”
Chelsea will battle Atletico Madrid on 23rd of February and only a win on the first leg would begin marking their likelihood of advancing into the next round.
