Jason Sancho has for long remained Man United’s most talked transfer target with the Red Devils likely to launch a deal soon following comments from Watzke
Man United were reportedly scared off a deal to sign Jadon Sancho during the previous window after Dortmund demanded for lump sum.
It is believed that only money served as a stumbling block to seeing the former Man City man joining his former local rivals.
United decided to abandon the chase during the previous window after failing to press down the price demand.
Following comments from Borussia Dortmund CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke; the huge €120m demand rumored was all a ‘fictional concortion’.
“The alleged transfer fee often mentioned in the media never existed in reality,” Watzke said.
“And if you get a signal at some point that a large part of the amount offered will only be paid in a few years, it will finally be a pure theoretical discussion.” He added.
This comment comes as a green light for Man United who appear still interested in the English man.
Its likey Dortmund are trying to lay a foundation for a deal that would be completed in a lesser price after seeing Sancho no more interested in the club.
During the summer transfer window it was disclosed that Sancho has his heart at Old Trafford and reached personal agreements with United.
Man United are now expected to launch a sharp bid to convert Sancho before the winter window shuts.
