C.S. Herediano speak volumes in Estadio Carlos Ugalde Alvarez with a 3-1 win


The second placed team on the Costa Rica premiera division table, Club sport Herediano, truimphs over San Carlos FC with a 3-1 win.

The match which began at exactly 00:30 GMT in the wee hours of the day was played without spectators. This is  in compliance with the FIFA’s response to the fight against COVID-19.


Aguilar Jorman ( SAN CARLOS, PANAMA) got the first booking in the 13th minutes of the game. The panama-born striker has overtime had 4 goals in 9 appearances for his team.

Rojas Jiminez B. of C.S. Herediano scored the first goal of the match in the next minute after Jorman’s booking. The first half ended with the debut goal living the San Carlos team with hopes of a comeback.

Other players who dominated the score board were Ruiz (C.S.  Herediano, COSTA RICA) and Aguilar Jorman hitting the goalposts in the first six minutes of the second half.


The Costa Rican midfielder, Alberth Villalobos (C.S. Herediano), in the 81st minute scored the last goal of the match.

The tie at Estadio Carlos Ugalde Alvarez ended on a victorious note for the Club Sport Herediano boys. Exchange of pleasantries amongst the two teams followed the whistle blow from the Umpire.
