Cech’s Uncertain Future At Emirates Stadium

Arsenal’s manager, Unai Emery has recently disclosed his uncertainty on Cech’s future.

Unai Emery does not want to hide the fact that he doesn’t actually know what the future holds for their former No 1 choice goal keeper; Petr Cech.

Cech was Arsenal’s first choice keeper until an injury pushed him off track and him recovering, he was pushed to the bench following the signing of a new goalkeeper who took his place in the team ; Bernd Leno.

Leno is really giving his best for the club and eliminating him from the first eleven squad is what Emery is not willing to do.

The Spanish manager disclosed this in a statement he made while addressing the reporters who questioned him on Cech’s future with Gunners.

I don’t know now, it has to do with the club and the player.

“He started this season very well, very good behavior, commitment and also performance. And then when he had his injuries, he recovered his position on the bench.- Emery said

“I am very happy with him. We will speak in the future with the player but at the moment I want his focus to be the same in every training and match.”

Emery went on to applaud the keeper’s utmost commitment to the club’s success stating that Cech’s commitment to the club has not been affected by the situation of things with him at Emirates Stadium and he(Unai) respects that part of Cech so much.

“I am happy because I think we need that. Petr has very big experience. His behavior with his situation is very good.”

The manager concluded.
