CHE vs TOT: Possible Line-up and Prediction as Chelsea take on Spurs

Chelsea set to battle Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham in what could be the most viewed EPL match of the week

Its a decisive game for both sides as Tottenham sit just a point ahead of 3rd placed Blues who eye a move to the top following Liverpool’s draw on Saturday.
Frank Lampard was handed major boosts following news of having an all round fit squad with fans’ most loved Pulisic also back in action.

Kai Havertz is also available for the game while Timo Werner could be rested as it’s widely claimed the German needs little rest after going several matches without rest for Blues.

Hakim Ziyech will push the attack from the left flank as he hopes to continue his impressive form, having been involved in 5 goals for Blues in the UCL and EPL.

Mason Mount is fit, likewise N’Golo Kante who is also in his impressive form. Jorginho and Kovacic are also another option for the center but both could start from the bench.

At the goal-post would be Edouard Mendy who has over and over justified his move from France.

He could be guarded by Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma as both have been Lampard’s best pick for defense so far.

Ben Chilwell and James Reece as usual could still start at both defensive flanks.

It’s a crucial one for Jose who would be returning to Stamford Bridge with an expectation of bagging a win.

The Portuguese is expected to unleash his super combo; Harry Kane and Son as both men were rested in the previous game.

Sergio Reguilon is also a sure starter as he was also rested for the London Derby during Spurs 4-0 victory against Ludogorets.

Both sides are in the season’s EPL’s longest unbeaten run along side Southampton (7); Chelsea (7) Tottenham (7) which interprets into a fierce game for both sides.

Coupled with the fact that it’s a decisive Derby clash for both sides as a win from either sides would see them at the top of the league table.

But a statical boost to boost to Chelsea as Tottenham has won just one of their last 34 away games against Chelsea across all competitions. D(11) L(22), losing the he last three in a row.

Its more of a Chelsea win than an over  2 goals draw as both sides are expected to net goals.

But Blues have been very strong defensively with Mendy receiving praises of good run so far, which makes it less likely Son or Kane could net more than once today.
