Chelsea officially announced the departure of 7 Players from the club

While the Blues are getting ready to reinforce the team with fresh talents in few roles, seven players have been let to leave the Stamford Bridge.

The most notable of them all is the third choice keeper, Willy Caballero who left after spending 4-year at West London.

Caballero arrived from Manchester City back in 2017 and have managed 11 league appearances for the side.

The 39-year-old became a free agent after leaving the club yesterday.

Jamal Blackman

The 27-year-old goalkeeper left Chelsea after his loan spell at Rotherham.

Blackman didn’t make any appearance for Chelsea throughout his career at the club as he was mostly sent out on loans.

Since arriving in 2012, the Englishman has made a total of 9 loan moves including to Vitesse where Chelsea’s striker, Armando Broja is set to return from.

Isaiah Jay Brown

Isaiah Jay managed just a single appearance for the West Londoners since 2013 and was also a subject of multiple loan moves.

From Vitesse to Leeds United and Rotherham, the 24-year-old completed 7 loan moves before deciding to leave the Blues permanently.

The versatile attacker is so talented that he was expected to break into the ranks at the senior team but unfortunately he couldn’t make a show.

Frith Declan

The young left back’s departure comes as a shock as he just joined last month, May 2021.

But due to reasons best known to the club, the 19-year-old has left.

Pantic Danilo

Danilo is on loan to Serbian side, FK Čukarički as Chelsea announce his departure from the squad.

The 24-year-old also made no appearance for the club before his departure despite spending 6-years at the club.

Van Ginkel

Marco Van Ginkel joined Chelsea from Vitesse after netting 18 goals in 98 appearances but only managed 2 appearances for Chelsea before his departure.

The 28-year-old’s first loan move was to AC Milan before Stoke City and then PSV where he has remained since 2016.

Although, Van Ginkel was recalled after netting 21-goals in 43 league appearances for PSV, he failed to impress at Blues and was sent back to PSV before his departure yesterday.

Jack Wackely

Born in the year 2000, Wackely was on loan to Brighton back in February 2021 and stayed until the end of the season.

Wackely joined from a Southern Premier South Division, Basingstoke Town on loan back in 2019.
