Chelsea have reportedly turned their attention to Brighton skipper, Lewis Dunk after backing off Declan Rice chase.
The Blues are believed to have given up on their hunt for Declan Rice as West Ham appear not willing to easily let go of the English man who has been rumored to be heading to Stamford Bridge.
According to reports cited on Skysports, Sun and AS Marca, Frank Lampard has turned his focus to securing a deal for 28-year-old who joined Brighton as a youth player and has since then gone from a loaned to the club captain.

The deal is expected to cost Chelsea around £40m as Lamapard fires up his chase for reinforcements on the backline with Ben Chilwell’s deal almost sealed.
Former Chelsea man, Cascarino has given his verdict on his former side landing the defender as he labels Lewis the best defender in the lower half of the league table.
“He’s not just a brute that wins headers. He’s a fine footballer,” Cascarino remarked about the Brighton star.
“If you said to me, of the bottom half of the table who I think is the very best centre-half, I think it’s him.Embed from Getty Images
“His consistency over a number of seasons has been brilliant. His partnership with [Shane] Duffy was exceptional. He’s moved from a two to a three and he’s done really well in the three as well.
“[Brighton] are a side who have changed their backline so he’s capable of playing not only in a back-four but a back-five, so I think Dunk is well capable and I think h will have that move and because of his level of performance I think he’s owed a chance to play for a top-six club because he’s good enough.”
