Chelsea are reportedly going head to head with Arsenal in bid to land 18-year-old Turkish Goalscorer
Ali Akman has managed to come off the Turkey U18 squad to establish a name in Bursaspor’s first team with Chelsea and Arsenal keen to price away the youngster.
Akman has netted 9 goals in 16 appearances for his club, becoming a major part of the young Bursaspor squad.
With his performance already catching the eyes of many European clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal are believed to on the top of his bid list.
Ali has his contract running until the next 6 month and the Turkish club fears losing him as a free agent when he is out of contract.
Reports disclose that Bursaspor are willing to accept as low as €3m for Akman or even lower considering the Corona impact on clubs’ finances.
The striker is of no intention to extend his contract with the current team as this only makes Bursaspor worried.
The club will let him leave if a good offer is presented with Arsenal nor Chelsea yet to present any.
Galatasaray and Salzburg earlier on failed in their attempt to price away Akman back in December as the two Londoners aren’t the only ones in the pursuit.
There are also interests for the front man from Germany, Italy and France.
