Tomori was finally handed a a chance which he performed well in Chelsea’s 4-0 Morecambe Victory
The 23-year-old isn’t finding playtime under Frank Lampard following the arrival of Thiago Silva.
Lampard earlier on stated that the Nigerian could be leaving on loan this winter during a press conference after the Morecambe game.
“The situation with Fikayo is open at the moment,” Lampard said of the defender’s future.
He continue, “there’s a possibility that he could be going on loan to get games somewhere else but that has to be right solution for him and the club.
“He was part of my thinking to start today but we’re looking at that.
“His attitude has been fantastic in terms of training every day and how he is because it’s not easy when we have five centre-backs at the club.”
According to reports, Tomori is set to leave Stamford Bridge after make a decision on his future.
AC Milan reportedly presented a loan offer for the Chelsea man despite still interested to land Strasbourg’s Mohamed Simkan.
With Fikayo wanting for proper play time, he is ready to accepted the offer which would keep him away from Stamford Bridge for the meantime.
With just 22 appearances, Tomori has netted 2 goals as he eyes to embark on another loan move after returning from Derby County.
