Atletico Madrid are likely to not have 6 of their main stars during their UCL clash with Chelsea on February 23rd
Chelsea are back in impressive form and facing an Atletico Madrid side without several key names could hand the Blues and edge.
Since Thomas Tuchel’s take over, Chelsea have gone from the bottom of the top half table to the 5th place and now sitting 1 point out of the top 4 zone.
Meanwhile, over at Atletico Madrid, the Spanish side has remained at the top of La Liga table for quite some time now and appeared to have been glad to be matched with a Frank Lampard’s side of Chelsea.
But seeing Tuchel in charge and propelling in a desired direction, being without 6 key players may come as a major blow for the Wanda Metropolitano side.

Diego Simoene would have to make a quick patch to his squad as he aims to advance pass Chelsea in the UCL campaign but won’t be an easy task.
Especially against a team that is now hungry for results and clean sheets with their only goal-against coming from an Antonio Rudiger’s mistake own goal.
Chelsea have met 7 times with Atletico Madrid, out of which both teams won 2 each and drew the remaining 3. The game ahead would determine who takes the lead in their H2H stats on likely continue their draw.
