Chelsea prepare to battle West Ham United on Monday with reports now stating the Stamford Bridge side could be without some key players

Kurt Zouma and Reece James are both currently doubt for the Monday game following reports of recent injury discovered after tests.

With the Chelsea center back missing out in the training pictures released on Thursday, it was lately reveled yesterday that the Frenchman is a doubt for Blues’next game.

Having made over 150 appearances for Chelsea Zouma’s performances this season has seen him a preferred defender to Frank Lampard, winning 52 ariel battles.

Reece James injury

Reece James is another player is more likely to miss Monday match after been disclosed to have picked up a knee injury.

James has managed to break into the first 11 and since then has remained a starter, stealing game time from the claws of Cesar Azpilicueta who also has been consistent in delivering.

Its yet to be assetain how long James would be out for but could possibly be weeks for him to fully recover after treatment.

The severity of the knee issue is reported to be that which needs a surgery and could be done anytime soon so as to speed up his recovery process.

This also could be a chance to see 10-goal contributor Development team star promoted to the first team but only if James is out recovering for longer period.

Tino Livramento has 2 goals and 8 assists in his name after 14 appearances for Chelsea Development Team.

The young star could finally be getting a chance to battle Cesar Azpilicueta for a place in the Chelsea senior team.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech latest injury update

Both Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech were seen training after missing out Chelsea last two matches.

The wingers were pulled from the squad after reportedly suffering a hamstring setback that needed sometime out order to see them recover.

Seeing how much of a damage their absence has caused, it comes as a morale booster to see them back.

Hudson-Odoi is reportedly very close to making a full time return as he could possibly star in Monday match.

Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech is still a doubt as he is yet to fully recover and much likely he will miss the West Ham match tomorrow.
