Daniel Levy’s Decision may have just handed Harry Kane’s suitors transfer boost
Harry Kane is still keen on his Tottenham departure as clubs push to land him but it’s Levy who has been the man in the center.
Levy doesn’t want to see Kane leave for a cheap price and at such has set his price tag above £100m to scare off suitors.
Although a move almost had the striker changing his mind as the club was reported lined up to complete the marking of Antonio Conte who is currently a free agent.
The former Chelsea manager has been an admirer of Kane and arriving, would mean Kane staying back cause Conte won’t just bring new vision to the group but will set them up as title contenders.
But it won’t be so, after Tottenham failed to reach an agreement with Conte who wanted to arrive North London with four of his staffs.
Also it’s stated that his price is €3m higher than what Tottenham is willing to offer and at such has seen the deal cut off.
Tottenham are now left to still push for another manager or remain under the management of their interim manager; Ryan Mason.
Chelsea are one of the most considered sides for Harry Kane after seeing the Blues beat Manchester City to lift the UEFA Champions League trophy.
The West Londoners are very much in search of a new striker after disclosing to Tammy Abraham that he could leave the club this summer if he wishes to.
Also having extended Olivier Giroud‘s contract there are now chances they could give in on deals for the Frenchman but Giroud knows staying at Stamford Bridge means he won’t be a starter under Tuchel.
