Giroud is of lately linked to a move to the Italian League after coming from behind to become Chelsea top scorer for the 2020 year
Giroud must have tipped bidders to come knocking for him when he bagged a haul during Chelsea 4-0 victory against Sevilla before advancing to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions league.
Despite his impressive scoring form this season, Giroud isn’t a regular starter for the West Ham based club.
With the presence of Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham in the squad, Giroud has found it hard being picked by the manager to always go in front as Lampard always opted to having Tammy at the front.

Following reports from several sources, it’s understood that Juventus have presented an ‘official’ offer for the World Cup winner which also Giroud is reported to have been ‘flattered’ by the offer.
“He’d be handy!” Juventus manager, Pirlo said to DAZN when asked about signing Giroud.
“The window opens tomorrow, we already discussed with the club what we want to do and if there are any opportunities. Maybe a striker that can rotate with our strikers.”
Giroud would have the opportunity to partner with the likes of Paulo Dybala and Ronaldo in Andrea Pirlo’s team but it appears he won’t be making the trip.
According to Goal, the 34-year-old won’t be leaving Blues during the current transfer window as the club have disclosed their intention to keep him at the club.
Giroud’s contract is set to expire by June 2021 but Blues won’t be handing him an extension as they opted to discuss over terms for a new contract which could possibly include pay-rise for the striker.

Speaking to Le Dauphine Libere about his situation at Stamford Bridge, Giroud said; “The ambition is to win something with Chelsea this season. The rest of my career, in the short term, I see it at Chelsea.
“Now we know that things are going very quickly in football, for good and bad [reasons]. I want to keep a cool head and concentrate on the pitch.
“My contract at Chelsea will end in June, even though I have the option to stay for another year. We will discuss it at the end of the year.

“But, once again, I have the ambition to win something with Chelsea this season because I have high hopes linked to the quality of our squad.”
Giroud almost moved to Italy back in January 2020 amid move to Inter Milan to reunited with former manger, Antonio Conte but the deal didn’t materialize afterwards.
Back at Torino, Juventus have now reportedly moved on to bidding for other players as they now consider Olivier Giroud’s talks off.
