Chelsea are ready to offer Barkley and Batshuayi to West Ham for Declan Rice.
Chelsea are willing to offer Ross Barkley and Michy batshuayi to West Ham United as part of a swap deal for Declan Rice, according to The Times.
According to reports, Chelsea ‘plan to offer West Ham Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuayi for Declan Rice in swap transfer’ to fix leaky defence.
The Blues are keen to reunite with their academy player, Declan Rice, who is currently playing for the Hammers, but the East Londoners are reportedly not interested in taking on the rarely used pair.
The English midfielder, Barkley who joined the blues from Mercyside, Everton has been tipped together with Belgian striker, Batshuayi to be offered to Westham in the deal.
The 21 years old Rice, came through Chelsea’s academy but was released at the age 14 when he signed for the Hammers.
Despite willingness from Chelsea to offer two of their players, West Ham seem reluctant in taking Barkley or Batshuay in part-exchange for their best player.
Frank Lampard look to strengthen his defense department, so the young manager wants to sign Rice and make him play defense for him, a position Rice had played as a young star
