Chelsea is expected to venture heavily into the transfer market during this summer with the English already linked to some of the popular names around the neighborhood including Declan Rice.
Rice who has risen from the very smallest of classes in the West Ham team to the first eleven and as well has broken into the national team with Chelsea’s wunderkind, Mason Mount.

Aside from being a Center Back(CB), Rice is also a Defensive Midfielder (DMF) and that appears to be the quality of his’ the Blues are hunting for.
Declan Rice has already made his mark on how important he can be in the squad after providing 2 assists in 29 games before the Corona Virus breakout that had to see everything being halted for a while.

But despite the fact that Rice is a good friend of Mount’s and Chelsea hoping to rely on this to bring back their former player who spent his youth career with them, Declan has four years West Ham contract still breathing and they got to sort that.Embed from Getty Images
There is also an option for an extension on Declan’s contract and all these amount more bills for the Blues to clear if they wish to reunite with Rice.
Meanwhile, it’s still uncertain if the UK transfer window will reopen on July 18 as scheduled or we are to see more postponements with the League games resumption dates yet to be decided.
