Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up a move for AC Milan Ismaël Bennacer with Jorginho likely to be involved in the deal if need arises for a swap.
Chelsea have been linked with a move with AC Milan defensive midfielder, Ismaël Bennacer as Frank Lampard looks to stregthen his squad for the coming Champions League competition and Jorginho is expected to be used to foster the move.
Lampard’s men ended the 2019/2020 season successfully today with a qualification to the UEFA Champions league after Man United triumph over Leicester perfected their 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton.

Frank is more concerned on strengthening his squad so as to be a major competitor come next season both on the local league and international leagues.
Having completed the brilliant signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner and both already in Stamford Bridge with the boys, Frank Lampard’s attention is expectedly on Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz but reports have dug up suggestions of Lampard also considering reinforcing his midfield.
Despite having plenty of talents already in the center of the pitch, Lampard has been reported to be wanting to land the 22-year-old adding to Mateo Kovacic, N’golo Kante, Jorginho, Loftus-cheek, Ross Barkley and Bill Gilmour.Embed from Getty Images
If this be true and does materialize then there is going to be major competition in the center for the Blues midfielders.
Although, Bennacer is reportedly valued at an amount Frank Lampard isn’t ready to splash on a player of his kind, €50m, a deal is believed to be still possible as the Blues are looking to offload Jorginho who has fallen off-favor since the resumption of the league after the long break.
No formal communications have been made by both parties and AC Milan have in the past stated they aren’t ready to let go of the Algerian but its still believed a juicy such as handing Jorginho and few cash would cause the Rossoneri change their mind.Embed from Getty Images
Bennacer joined AC Milan from Empoli where he made 76 appearances during his 2-years stay at the former side, netting 2 goals before embarking on the €16 million plus bonuses move to San Siro.
