
Chelsea have reportedly turned attention to Ibrahima Konaté after losing out on Upamecano’s transfer chase
Ibrahima Konaté is now the most considered name for Chelsea‘s defense target ahead of the summer transfer window with the Blues already out of Dayot Upamecano‘s chase.
The Stamford Bridge side were said to have sent multiple offers for Dayot in attempt to seal a move for the defender who is also targeted by other top flight clubs.
Manchester United also had their eye on the 22-year-old who has now agreed to move to Bayern Munich after reaching agreement with the European Champions.

According to Christian Falk, the Blues are now considering landing Ibrahima Konaté ahead of the summer transfer window as Tuchel hopes to strengthen his backline.
The Centre-Back has made 75 appearances for Leipzig and Chelsea believes he could be reunited soon with his former teammate, Timo Werner after proving his worth.

Although the French Professional has seen his game time limited this season due to an injury suffered back in December, he still remain a consideration for several clubs.
Manchester United and Liverpool are also stated to have been scouting Ibrahima Konaté in attempt to materialize a deal.
