Chelsea turns down PSG loan offer for their defender with aim of selling him permanently.
Antonio Rudiger’s time at Chelsea could be up from anytime soon, with the club reportedly looking to sell the defender.
With the player not featuring in any Chelsea’s first 4 games of the season, Rudiger has dropped down on Lampard’s pecking order of defense and could be making his way out of the club.
Chelsea is looking to sell the German defender permanently and have reportedly turned down PSG’s offer of loan and Option to buy.
Lampard is still not quitting on acquiring the highly English rated Defender and defensive midfielder, Declan Rice. So it seems Lampard wants to do away with Rudiger so to pave way for the West Ham player.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice since, but need to make sales to complete a transfer for the Englishman.
After being left out of the last two match-day squads, Antonio Rudiger is reportedly a loan target of some of the biggest clubs in Europe, who are hoping to snap up the out-of-favour 27-year-old. Mirror.co.uk can confirm.
According to the Daily Mail , Paris Saint-Germain have made an approach for the German. The French champions want to loan Rudiger for the season, but include an option to buy clause in deal.
Barcelona have also been named as a potential landing spot, but Chelsea would prefer to sell on a permanent basis.
Nevertheless, with Rudiger not a part of Lampard’s plans and is expected to leave before the 5th of October deadline, negotiations continue. According to the Mirror.
