CM Punk signs a new deal with WWE as a BACKSTAGE ANALYST
The WWE legend will sign a lucrative deal after announcing his return to WWE, which bring his five year out of action with the UFC to a breach.
CM Punk, stunned the fans by making an unannounced appearance on Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Backstage, on FS1 in the United State.
Punk, arrived at the end of the show and switched to the sounds of his iconic “Cult of Personality” the entrance music he used throughout his whole career.
“It is as simple as this; Just when they think they have got the answers, I change the culture,” He told the camera, and later added; “I will see you here next week.”
It is understood that Punk will sign a lucrative deal as part of his new role in WWE’s weekly studio based show, but it is still doubtful, whether the 41-year old, WWE legend will be making a full-time return to In-ring action.
Most of the WWE fans expected CM punk to step foot inside the squared circle once again.
Since his exit from WWE action back in 2014, his name has been revaberated around the World.
The former two-time WWE champion departed the company under a cloud, insisting he had retired after encountering a good number of health challenges while performing for the company.
He lost his first fight to Micky Gall in 2015, and last year Mike Jackson also defeated him since after signing a Multi-fight deal with the UFC. That effectively signalled the end of his MMA career after UFC Chief Dana White announced Punk would probably never fight for the company again.
He has been spotted on Many occasions serving as a commentator for cage fury fighting championship. But Punk was linked with a return to Wrestling with WWE’s new rivals, All Elite wrestling.
And now, seems to be on the verge for a historical WWE In-ring comeback.
“CM Punk, one of the most celebrated WWE Superstars of all time, joins the roster of FS1’s WWE Backstage, starting next week, Tuesday November 19.” WWE Announced.
“Phill Brooks, populary known as CM Punk, joins WWE Backstage as a special contributor and analyst. He will make select appearances in studio alongside host Renee Young and analyst Booker T.
“The best in the World” joins the list alongside fellow regular contributors, Christian and Paige, as well as new correspondent Ryan Satin on the WWE Backstage rotation.
Popular Punk, who is married to AJ Lee, a fellow WWE legend holds the sixth longest WWE championship reign of all time having won the title for a stunning 434 days between November 2010 and January 2013, when he was eventually defeated by famous The Rock at Royal Rumble.
Now his WWE fans will be looking out to see him challenge at the next Royal Rumble, early next year, 2020.
