Chelsea once again were without their top scorer as they lost all points disgracefully to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday
Chelsea’s 5-2 loss to West Bromwich Albion marked yet another game without their top striker Tammy Abraham.
Despite being the side’s top scorer for the current season and last, Thomas Tuchel has preferred to leave out Tammy Abraham in his squad since his arrival.
The English man has made only 4 starts in Tuchel’s 15 games in charge of the West London outfits
Abraham has been patient enough to be given enough time as he has also proven to be a prospect in the Blues shirt.
From loan trips to Bristol City, Swansea, Aston Villa and then returning to pick up the feared number 9 jersey.

The 23-year-old’s hunger to fight for a place in his boyhood club had him turn down permanent deal offer to remain at Aston Villa where he announced of his his readiness with 25 goals in 37 league appearances for the then Championship side.
With 12 goals in 30 appearances this season of which 4 of these came from his 3 FA Cup appearances, Abraham has proven to be a better striker in the Premier League that the misfiring Timo Werner.
It’s indeed a shocker that despite after his huge one on post sitter miss against North Macedonia, Timo Werner still got picked ahead of Tammy Abraham who was left behind at Cobham.
Having made a return from his injury contracted against Newcastle United, Tammy Abraham was supposedly glad to have stayed back at Cobham as Southgate never called him up for National jobs.
Abraham saw Ollie Watkins and Calvert Lewin banging goals during the International break but still wasn’t left behind much gaps as he also has netted his own goals for England during his former call.
Staying back to get fit for the game on Saturday provided Tammy with the expected boost to break into Tuchel’s starting squad but unfortunately he was left behind once again as Tuchel went on to bag his first loss of Chelsea career.
According Telegraph, the happening in the squad is already leaving both Tammy Abraham, his teammates and other backroom members confused as he isn’t picked for action most of the times despite being the club’s main center forward.
The matter remains further more strange considering the fact that Tuchel has reportedly held one on one talks with the Camberwell born and ironed out his role in the club.
Chelsea are yet to score twice in open play without the striker in the current run which makes it more better reason for Tuchel to reconsider his decisions to subtract him from the squad.
Blues battle FC Porto on Wednesday night and Tammy Abraham will be hopeful of game time as his contract still has life until 2022 and forcing a move out now maybe some what undesirable.
