Former Juventus Manager, Fabio Capello believes Inter Milan head coach, Antonio Conte needs time to fully implement his philosophy despite a record-breaking start.

Fabio Capello has told Sky Sports reporters that Antonio Conte is definitely the right man for Inter Milan job even as the former Juventus player has proved how dreadful he can make the Inter Milan squad.

While speaking to Skysports, Capello likened Conte to Jose Mourinho who took his time in Milan to fully implement his tactics and mentality in his players before it all began to reflect on their results.

“​Conte like Mourinho? Jose didn’t win in a year, he took time to build the team, give the players mentality and see his ideas turned into reality on the field. Conte also needs time.” – Said the 2009 BBC Sports Personality Coach of the year.

Although, Conte has really had a good start at San Siro, breaking the club record as he has gone 6 games unbeaten with 5 wins and 1 draw, including the Nerazzurri derby match against AC Milan.

The former Chelsea manager was also known for his quality traits as a midfielder during his playing days and was also greatly recommended for his ability to read the game and as well make quality impacts.

“How was Conte as a soccer player? He was a dynamic midfielder, with decent quality, but he had a trait that only a few had: knowing how to create and score goals” Capello continued.

Conte also implemented his 3-5-2 formation while incharge of Juventus in 2011, leading the Old Lady to 3 consecutive Serie A titles before leaving.

Despite that Chelsea sacked the Italian, Conte also had good times at Stamford Bridge as he also won the Premier League title with the Blues on his first year incharge of the English side.

“In a context of dynamic play and in a spectacular frame of public he was exalted and did a great job: he won a league and a cup, results of great importance in a short time. He found the mentality he was looking for in the players.” Capello shared as he hinted on Conte’s Premier League experience.
