Dani Alves finally found a team and has sealed the contract as he returns home to probably finish his career.

Alves had been with no team after he left PSG as a free agent and efforts to force his way back to Camp Nou proved to be useless as the Catalans refuse to take back a player who spent most of his time out, blasting them.

The 33 year old would be staying with his new team, Sao Paulo until 2022 as he teams up with some old pals like Alexandres Pato and Hernandez.

The Brazilian team disclosed the signing in a heartwarming video shared on their Instagram account. Alves has always been a big fan of Sao Paulo and also had hinted that he would love to play for the team someday.

The deal was completed for a yet to be disclosed amount as the Alves is handed the number 10 jersey as he will be handling the right side of the pitch.

Sao Paulo sits at the 5th position of the league table, with Alves’ historic performance in the just completed Copa America, Sao Paulo hopes to be at the top of the league, with Alves on their side.
