Chelsea have reportedly made final decision on Billy Gilmour as Former Dortmund man sets for England trip to reunited with Tuchel and Pulisic
Chelsea could be making some quick deadline deals today with the transfer window open until 11pm as Gilmour and move for Dembele become priority.
Billy Gilmour has not been opportune to make any appearance Tuchel’s first two games in charge and it’s rumored an exit looks more likely on the deadline day.
Loan moves are been talked of already with the Scottish craving for game time in his quest to break into his national team ahead of the Euro competitions.
The youngster was becoming a regular until Frank Lampard was shown the exit door. Although, Thomas Tuchel had spoken of his brilliance and talents, it’s speculated Gilmour would have slim chances of playing games under Tuchel.
Several clubs are already on the 19-year-old’s radar and according to Football.London, it’s expected he leaves on loan today.
Ousmane Dembele Could Reunite With Pulisic And Tuchel
According to Sport via Mirror, Ousmane Dembele could be making a shock move to Stamford Bridge today as future at Barcelona becomes more uncertain.
The French man has until 2022 on his Barcelona contract and should he stay until then, Barca could lose him as a free agent which is one of the things they don’t want to see happen.
It’s believed Dembele wants to wait until the Presidential election at Barcelona is conducted before making a decision on his future but with a keen interest from Chelsea, he could compromise.
Tuchel played a major role in Ousmane Dembele’s rise to light and reuniting with the former Borussia Dortmund boss is one option that would appear lucrative to the Winger.
Having similar speed as that of Hudson-Odoi, Dembele would be a good backup to the English kid incase of injury days.
Olivier Giroud Concerns
Giroud made an appearance on Tuchel’s first game in charge of Chelsea but failed to net a goal as he was later on replaced by Tammy Abraham.
It’s been feared that the Frenchman could still leave this January considering the start of the new era which could mean no game time for him anymore.
It’s left for Tuchel to decide if Giroud fits into his agenda but the last game has seen Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner starting ahead of Olivier Giroud who did not make an appearance.
West Ham United remain one side likely to move in for Giroud after letting Sebastien Haller leave for Ajax.
Having earlier on stated he would be staying beyond January window, it’s understood that Giroud won’t be leaving this winter but could in the summer.
