The 21-year-old has made 128 appearances for West Ham already since he joined as a teenager in 2015, netting 3 goals.
Having left Chelsea as a youth back in 2014, Rice is expected to move back home following interests from his former side.
Close source to the Kingston upon Thames born has recently disclosed where Rice’s heart is pointing to with his contract yet to run out in the summer of 2024.
It’s revealed that Declan Rice doesn’t want to leave London, as he has also been linked to a Manchester United move.
According to Mirror; “Dec has been flattered by interest in him but doesn’t see himself moving to Manchester. It’s obvious where he’d like his next move to be.” – Source close to Rice.
It’s believed that Manchester United are also on the defender’s radar after seeing how impressive his games are.
Rice is valued at a whooping £80m and returning to Stamford Bridge would have Blues stacking out nothing less than this amount.
With his unfinished business at Chelsea, Rice could possibly be linking up with favorite pal, Mason Mount who alongside manager, Frank Lampard haven’t failed to disclose their admiration for the youngster.
