Former Manchester United man, Wayne Rooney sets to join League 1 side, Derby County as a player-coach.
Wayne Rooney would be getting an opportunity to chase his management career as he would be joining Dutch Phillip Cocu in the management seat of League 1 side, Derby County.

Although Wayne Rooney hasn’t written-off his playing career after his side was thrashed by Atletico Madrid in a Friendly 4-0 victory. Wayne really spent the pre-season in style, moving from place to places, signing autographs, taking selfies with fans and as well taking part of a skill test challenge.
The 33-year-old would be announced by Derby County in no distance time if only things go as planned to give him a chance to develop his management skills.
Derby County manager who is preparing to be joined with Wayne Rooney disclosed via Skysports that he’s open to receiving the Englishman.
“At the moment I can’t say anything. Like I said before the game we are working on completing the team. It isn’t complete yet. I cannot say anything about names before things are done.” Cocu told Skysports.
“We have a lot of players we think could be an asset for the team. You always try to get the best you can with the resources at the club. A few more days then hopefully I can say something more.” He ended.
The Dutch man succeeded current Chelsea manager who left Derby to join his former club Chelsea as a permanent manager and has been putting out good management skills since taking over with a recent 2-1 victory over Premier League relegated side, Huddersfield.
