The Real Madrid man has finally realized his mistakes during their semi finals elimination
The saga surrounding Eden Hazard’s spell at Real Madrid continues to escalate as the Real Madrid man makes clear confession of what happened on the night Chelsea eliminated Real Madrid from the UEFA Champions League.
After spotting the Belgian laughing with his former teammates, Real Madrid were pushed into reinstating the 30-year-old in the transfer market.
Making matters worse, Hazard claimed the next day that he wasn’t happy with Chelsea’s victory, causing Chelsea fans to turn angry against him.
Just weeks after the incident, Hazard has come to clear the air stating he made a mistake to have laughed at that very night.
Speaking on the incident, he said; “Yes, laughing after the game vs Chelsea was wrong.
“What they said wasn’t even funny, it’s just always good to see old friends again. But I understand I hurt the image of Real Madrid.
“At Chelsea I often played with discomfort. It went well and for 7 years I never had big injuries. Unfortunately it was the opposite with Madrid. The next day, more pain.
“People thought I didn’t lose sleep over the elimination vs Chelsea, but nothing could be further from the truth.
“I was very disappointed. If there was one game I wanted to win, it was vs my former club at Stamford Bridge.”
