A new striker might be a priority for Arsenal with the future of Eddie Nketiah and Lacazette uncertain and Erling Haaland’s four-word verdict on Arsenal may be an hint on his possible move to Arsenal.
Although, big clubs like Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United as well as La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with a move for the Norwegian, he is yet to decide his next club.
Haaland won the Bundesliga player of the year after a superb goalscoring season with the German giants after netting 41 goals in just 41 appearances across all competitions.
The Borussia Dortmund striker is now the most sought-after player in Europe right now attracting interest from top clubs but Arsenal have now reportedly joined the race.
Piers Morgan who is an Arsenal fan has offered the Norwegian the brilliant inducement of assisting him improve his fashion sense should he switch allegiance to the Gunners.
This is coming after Haaland posted a picture on holiday and Morgan replied by saying:
“Come to Arsenal, Erling, and I’ll sort your fashion out.”
While this may do little in convincing the player, Haaland respect for the Gunners can not be denied and he has always referred to Arsenal as a ‘great club’
“It will be interesting to see Martin at Arsenal,” Haaland said when delivering his verdict on Ødegaard.
“It’s a great club in England
The football is a bit different, but I think he can fit in well with Arteta in midfield. He can have fun there.” He added.
While his price tag €200m (£172m) may be a problem for the Gunners, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will make the move.
