German side, Fortuna Dusseldorf has contacted Manchester City in attempt to discuss loan extension for Zack Steffen.
Stefan has reportedly been impressing in the German league and Fortuna Dusseldorf does not seem to have plans of letting go him anytime soon.
The American born goalkeeper joined the Citizens from MLS league side Columbus for an amount estimated to be around 7m but reported to be the highest the American club has ever recieved for a goalkeeper.
Upon arriving Manchester City, Stefan was loaned to Dusseldorf on July 9th, 2019 and would remain with the European side for the rest of 2019/2020 season.
The 24-year-old Pennsylvania born goalkeeper guarded the post for the USA under-20 side during the 2015 CONCACAF games and also the 2015 FIFA under-20 World Cup.

Stefan made his debut to the USA senior national on May 16th, 2016 against Puerto Rico, one year after he started his professional career with Freiburg.
