Chelsea losing last night to Leicester only worsened Frank Lampard’s hopes as manager as Board reportedly summons the Englishman
Frank Lampard’s men were too sluggish during the game yesterday with Board now beyond disappointed with the current team form.
Chelsea were damned to a 2-0 loss following goals from Wilfred Ndidi and James Maddison as Leicester ended the day at the top of EPL.
Having earlier on stated after the game last night of his uncertainty and loss of control over his Chelsea Managerial Career, it’s likely to be end of the road for Frank Lampard.
Following reports early this morning, Chelsea Board have summoned the English man as talks about the near future is set to be discussed.
The news which was leaked by ExWHUemployee; same source that broke Edouard Mendy news before his transfer talks began, has disclosed the Blues are set to hold ‘crises talk’ with Lampard.
In response to a comment on his Twitter page, Ex said; ‘I think, although not really checked chelsea news much this window, he has crises talks tomorrow. That will determine his future at moment he may get a few more games I believe but as said I haven’t really paid much attention or asked many questions about Chelsea recently’
Although the ‘crises talks’ doesn’t mean Frank is getting the sack immediately but it’s entails more pressure on the manager.
Its expected that a final vote of confidence will be casted during the meeting also.
Meanwhile, with searches going on for the next Chelsea manager after names have been shortlisted, The Athletic has disclosed of who the next Chelsea manager is more likely to be.
Its stated that it’s more likely the next Chelsea manager would either be Thomas Tuchel or any other German speaking manager.
But Lampard is possibly not getting sacked now as preparations are just for ‘worst case scenarios’.
