Chelsea target Jovic will be available for loan in January transfer market
Real Madrid are considering loaning out £62 million striker Luka Jovic, and Chelsea may not like to lose this opportunity as they are closely monitoring the situation
The Serbian has struggled for form since his arrival at the club, he has made just four starts and has only scored one goal in his 12 appearances for the Spanish side.
Rumors carried that the Santiago Bernabeu are making plans to send their forwarder Jovic on a loan in January, so that he will be able to have more game time.
Recently, the Blues were linked with a move for the 21-year old Madrid striker before he joined the Champions League giants Real Madrid, and there might be more whispers returning after this.
Zinedine Zidane has backed up Jovic despite admitting he cannot find a place for him at the moment.
“He is not lost” Zidane told MARCA. after there Champions League victory against Club Brugge
“He played well tonight, but it is true that he has not played a lot so far this season.
“He is a player that needs to play a lot to play well. There is no problem with him, and he must keep working hard.
“At the moment, the difficulty lies with me as I cannot find a place for him, but he must be ready to play when he is needed.
“Hopefully he will get more game time in the coming weeks.” He added
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss has made an opinion that the Blues are more interested in signing a forwarder in the January transfer window.
“Going forward if we are looking at getting even better in forward areas to help competition, to help the idea of being more clinical, then I think we’ll always look at that.” Lampard said
“We have found eight potential players,” he added
The Serbia International might have the mindset to come to Stamford Bridge to compete with Tammy Abraham who is currently scoring for fun now that is totally a different story
If it is left to Tammy to make his opinion, he will always say that Jovic won’t be getting more game time in London than he is in Spain.
It is clear that Chelsea have been missing a lot of chances right now, so they need better quality competition and better quality players in the forward positions.
