Chelsea would be without one of their preferred attackers after the player suffered a knock in their Sheffield United’s victory
Chelsea hope to extend their winning streak under Thomas Tuchel when they visit Oakwell Stadium on Thursday but this could be without their star attacker.
The Blues managed a 2-1 victory during their trip to Bramall Lane during the weekend but had to lose one of their attackers to injury.
Timo Werner was seen demanding to be pulled from the game after winning his side a penalty opportunity to go ahead of the home team who had Chelsea‘s first goal dashed by Antonio Rudiger’s own goal.

According to the German manager, Timo Werner would miss the next couple of games as he joins Thiago Silva on the sideline.
Speaking on the injury, Tuchel said; “That describes it good. It’s not serious, It is very painful for him in this moment but now, I think he’ll be fine.”
Chelsea will likely be using Tammy Abraham up front during Werner’s absence.
Adding voice to his injury talks, Werner said; “It’s a dead leg. The 10-15 minutes after [the penalty collision] was hard so I told the manager he should take me off because it was a tight game.

“It’s better to have 11 fit players on the pitch than 10.5.”
Chelsea are now 1 point out of the top 4 after an impressive Thomas Tuchel fired the side from the 8th position to 5th place after just 4 games incharge.
