Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira says he dislikes ‘Arrogant’ Virgil Van djik and Milner.
Pereira stated that Virgil van Dijk and James Milner are the most “arrogant” players he’s come up against in the Premier League.
In a rare two-footed lunge, the Brazilian probably pleased more of the Old Trafford die-hards than he has on the pitch this season as he chose the Liverpool duo when answering a question on the Desimpedidos YouTube channel. According to Sportsbible
Responding to the most ‘marrento’ (cocky or arrogant) footballers he’s met, Pereira responded: “I don’t really like that guy, Milner and to tell you the truth, I don’t like that guy, the defender, Van Dijk. [He is] Marrento, man. Even the way he plays is kind of arrogant.”
The 24-year-old Brazilian international went on to say that he respects Van Dijk just because “he plays well
he 34-year-old Milner had jokingly called Man United “f*ing wkers” before lifting the Premier League trophy on Wednesday. So Milner probably won’t mind a Red Devil poking back at him a bit.
As for Van Dijk, clearly it seems Brazilian players hates on him. When asked about the defender by the same South American YouTube channel, Richarlison said in June: “People talk a lot about him, yes he is a great defender but I’ve already dribbled past him.
He went on to say “He was chosen as one of the top three in the world as he had an excellent season. But yes, for me there are better defenders.”
Richarlison mentioned Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos as his trio better than Van Djik.
So pereira has followed Richarlison to condemn the Netherland defender.
The midfielder favours his country men, saying: “David Luiz and Willian are the most ‘good’ guys”, he said that they are able to talk to each other before a match.
