Sergio Conceicao believes he was insulted by Chelsea manager after the full time whistle

FC Porto’s 1-0 victory wasn’t enough to send them into the Semi Finals as they lost 2-1 on aggregate to Chelsea.

But it wasn’t a happy end of the road send off for the FC Porto as members of the staff and bench were seen clashing with Tuchel after the game.

Yet to be revealed in detail what actually caused the after game feud between both sides, Conceicao claimed he felt insulted by Chelsea manager.

‘I was insulted by this gentleman who was next door,’ said Conceicao after the game.

‘My English is not perfect, it’s no use talking about it. There was no exchange of words because I was focused on the game, I don’t know why he reacted. I didn’t quite understand.

‘I heard some insults. It was not pretty and my irritation at the end had something to do with it. I didn’t even say the word to him. It wasn’t like that, but it’s over.’

‘I told the referee that the fourth referee heard the insults,’ he added as he confirmed what had happened wasn’t a misunderstanding.

Tuchel in response to this said during this press conference after the game; ‘No harm done.’

Chelsea await their next opponents as they are joined with PSG who triumphed over the defending Champions Bayern Munich.

It’s either Real Madrid or Liverpool for Chelsea while PSG will take on either Manchester City or Borussia Dortmund.

‘The Liverpool tie is far from over but I will watch it for sure,’ said the Tuchel of Liverpool vs Real Madrid match.

‘It is a pleasure to watch it as a semi-finalist, which is a great achievement. We will watch these games and everything is possible. Liverpool are very strong at home so we take what we get. It is a good situation for us.’
