Tuchel has urged the Blues to refocus after leaving Anfield with all three points secured following a rocket finisher goal from Mason Mount
Chelsea are having the widest smile after triumphing over Liverpool on Thursday night despite having their first goal disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee.
The visitors are back into the top 4 and now sit 4 points behind the 2nd place with the managed calling to his boys attention of the importance of focusing on their next clash.
Tuchel has gone 10 games unbeaten as Chelsea manager and a win over Everton on the next fixture would increase chances of overtaking Leicester City.
It’s clear the win last night came as a major boost to their UCL Qualification hopes but according to the manager, rejoicing over an already won game won’t do any better than the already secured 3 points.
Speaking after the game Tuchel said; “We didn’t think this way. We have already been in the top four after a win against Newcastle and we cannot lose the focus by looking at fixtures all the time, it does not help.
