Former Real Madrid goalkeeper, Iker Casillas to decide by March 2020 if he would return to the pitch or retire.

Iker Casillas was hit four months ago by a cardiac arrest has seen him off pitch since the incident and a lot of expectations are on the keeper from the supporters of his new side, Oporto.

Casillas has today disclosed that he might end his football career from the sickbed as he is yet to be fully cleared by the doctors taking care of his health despite fully recovering.

In the presentation for the Pozuelo Club de Fútbol season, Casillas disclosed to public of his plans to wait until March before deciding on what to do.

“It is a fast process in the physical but slow in the decision making. From here to March the doctor will see my evolution and if there is risk I will not run it,” Casillas said.
