Italian side, Napoli has reportedly made a significant improvement in interest to sign Arsenal defender.
According to Goal, Napoli have indicated public interest in Arsenal defender, Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
Arsenal are looking to part ways with the former Borussia Dortmund man following the arrival of Gabriel Magalhaes.
Sokratis has found it hard impressing Mikel Arteta in the past season and the manager thinks its best to let the 32-year-old.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has confirmed Napoli has made further steps in their plan to land the Greece man, in an interview with local radio station Radio Kiss Kiss (via Goal).
